Fruit ice-lollies

Homemade ice-lollies are much healthier than shop-bought ones and you can easily make them in the purpose-made plastic containers you buy at the supermarket.

Make the ice-lollies the previous night, put them in the freezer and be the most popular mom in the camp on a hot afternoon.

You need (for ± 10 ice lollies):

• 4 cups water
• 1½ cup sugar
• 2 cups fresh fruit juice
• plastic containers

Get cracking:

One … Boil the water and add the sugar. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.

Two … Add the fruit juice and set aside to cool.

Three… Pour the fruit juice into plastic containers and place in the freezer until completely frozen.
