Now, for the first time, you can explore this mysterious green world with your 4x4. Barnie Louw did just that.

Like you, I?ve driven through the Knysna Forest often. Or, at least, I thought I did… All those trees on either side of the N2 highway between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay make up the Forest, don't they? Not.

Every time I zipped through on the highway, I wondered what it would feel like to be in that vivid green, impenetrable lushness. Would it be quiet there? Cool? What does it smell like? Will I get out again if I go in alone?

Then the guys from Bhejane 4x4 Adventures called and said they have secured permission from SANParks to do escorted day trips through the inner sanctum of this enchanted rain forest world, and would I like to go?
