Ons beplan `n rit vanaf Rundu via Katima Mulilo, deur Ngoma-grenspos by Chobe tot by Kasane in Bots. Is iemand dalk vertroud met die roete? Is so `n rit tans moontlik en waarop moet ek bedag wees. Enige inligting sal hoog op prys gestel word. Vrindelike groete. Js

Ek het die pad tusen Rundu en Kasane al 'n paar keer gereis. Lekker lang, reguit teerpad wat gewoonlik nie baie besig is nie. Daar is egter heelwat padblokkades noordwaarts vanaf Otjiwarongo tot by Katima. Hou gerus dus jou reisdokumente en bestuurderslisensie gereed vir ondersoek. Wees ook versigtig vir vee en donkies tussen Rundu en Katima en wees veral versigtig vir olifante tussen tussen die grenspos anderkant Katima en daarvandaan tot by Kasane. Ek was al hier opgehou deur 'n trop olifante wat die pad beset het. Ek het ook al die pad in die somerseisoen gereis en het nog nooit verspoelings of iets soortgelyk teegekom nie. Ferdie Lochner
