Off-road wheels for Disco and Range Rover Sport

Although the Land Rover Discovery 4 and Range Rover Sport are both capable off-roaders, the low profiles of their 19-inch wheels make them very vulnerable to damage. 18 Inch Off-Road is a South African importer of Australian Compomotive 18-inch wheels that have been custom-made to fit on Discos and Range Rover Sports with 19-inch wheels.

This allows owners not only to deflate their vehicle’s tyres adequately, but also to fit a wider range of tyres.

The Compomotive wheels have been designed so that they still clear the huge brake callipers of these vehicles – this has been the reason why Land Rover didn’t offer them with 18-inch wheels in the first place. Their individual load rating of 950 kg is, in fact, 10kg higher than the standard Land Rover rims and the nuts are standard LR nuts, although the LR security nut doesn’t fit. In addition to that, they increase track by 18mm and offer an 18-inch solution for all Disco 3 and 4s, Range Rover Sports (the models without Brembo callipers); as well as Freelander 2s.
