Eggs in a hole

Without eggs and bread, breakfast is just not the same. Here’s a recipe that uses both ingredients and just one pan.
You need (for 2 portions):
- 2 slices bread
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 eggs
- salt and pepper
Get cracking:
- Make a well in the bread with a glass or a cup.
- Melt half of the butter in the pan and place the first slice of bread in it.
- Break an egg in the well, place the lid on the pan and bake until done.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper, remove from the pan and keep warm.
- Bake the second slice of bread and egg in the same way.
- The eggs and bread taste even better if fried with bacon.
