Boiled bush omelette
BOILED BUSH OMELETTE
This is not how Jamie Oliver would make an omelette, but what does he know about cooking in the bush anyway? Besides, it’s healthy, because it contains no oil or butter.
You need (for 1 serving):
• 2 eggs
• ¼ cup milk
• extra ingredients such as sliced ham, cheese, green pepper and cooked bacon
• salt and pepper to taste

Get cracking:
1. Boiling point.
Fill a pot halfway with water and let it boil.
2. A bit of everything.
Beat the eggs and milk together, add your preferred extra ingredients, season with salt and pepper and pour it in a medium-sized Ziploc bag.
3. My squeeza.
Squeeze all the air out of the bag and seal it. Put it into the boiling water and let it simmer for 10-13 minutes.
4. In the bag.
Remove the bag from time to time (be careful; it’s hot!) and carefully squeeze the mixture with your hands (wear oven gloves or use a tea towel) so the cooked and raw egg can “mix”.
Voilá! When the omelette is cooked, roll it out of the bag and serve with toast.
