The trail:
The trail consists of two sections. The first, at the foot of the mountain, is a 6km section characterised by challenging mud and dongas.
In winter a winch would most likely come in handy, so we recommend you pack one. There are escape routes for bypassing the more serious obstacles. Recovery services are available if need be.
Then it's a scenic drive to the mountain summit with stunning views. Do this trail on a clear day!For this section you need more than one vehicle and a winch is advisable. Escape routes are in place to bypass obstacles or to recover stuck vehicles. The mountain section is a scenic 9km circular route. The view from the top is spectacular. Only vehicles with low range allowed in mountain.
