Surrounds:
The scenery and views on the route are spectacular, particularly of the Sundays River, where you might even spot a hippo. It's a historic route, used by Boer Commandos and British soldiers during the South African (Boer) War. It's also part of a national park and therefore rich with plant and animal life, conserved in its natural state. Look out for black rhino on the Darlington side of the route as you drive through the rhino camp.
The trail:
Located within the Addo Elephant Park, the Bedrogfontein Trail is a self drive, 45km route between Kabouga and Darlington
Accommodation:
Accommodation is available at Kabouga House. Kabouga House, fully equipped self-catering. Darlington Dam Fisherman's Cottages, fully equipped and self-catering.
Camping:
Accommodation is available at Mvubu campsite (camping only) on the Kabouga side. Mvubu Bush camp, open area next to river with toilet, shower and braai facilities (fishing allowed at camp only) Add comment
